Today Madi has decided ta take it upon herself to teach herself how to ride her bike on her own. Though I've offered many of times to help guide her, she's refused it all. In fact both of the girls would much rather completely ignore their bikes mere existence whence I'm even near them. Though 'tis ok with me for I'm not gonna make them do somethin in which their not ready nor willin to do. I was so very proud of her she just picked up her little purple schwinn bike & off she went. She pushed it up to tha top of the hill then peddled it dwn.In tha process she slowed down to almost a complete stop then tried to turn in to tha driveway. though she fell she got up again & tried again. Skiddin her hands & side just a wee bit didn't really seen ta bother her due to her excitement of accomplishment. She was so proud she jumped with joy as she clapped her hands & her face turning red with excitement. I think it's really funny in so many ways that here I have 2 daughters in which I ENCOURAGE to get dirty & play in tha Mudd, have some Mudd pie fights when it rains, climb that tree in the yard, wrestle with each other or chase the dogs in the yard! "Don't be afraid to get dirty!", haha." you'll wash right off!" The only thing I ask, is that'cha rinse off with tha hose b4 coming inside, 2 keep mudd off tha carpet. Yet their aunt Beth & uncle Brian have 2 boys whom they DO NOT ALLOW 2 GET DIRTY @ all! If tha boys are caught even steppin in tha mudd, w/ or w/o bare feet ,their gettin an earfull that just may be followed by a little sore tailend.The closest things these kids have been to an actual real tool, is by tha toy ones in which they have. My girls have used my hammers, mallets, nails, drills, screwdrivers,utility knives. We've built a bed frame, toybox, end table & in tha process of building a sandbox followed by a picnic table. My girls are only 6 & 7 & they've already done all of this with me, their mother. Yet my nephews, haha, are treated like your typical little girl would be, tha prissy way persay. My nieces mothers are just as bad though. They to think that I'm n tha wrong & that girls should b brought up ta be prissy & prestigious that overly femine crappy like "O MY GOD I JUST BROKE A NAIL! I HAVE SO GOT 2 GET TO THE SALON STAT 2 GET IT REPAIRED!". PLEEEEEEZZE ok! If yer one that falls within this category, I so feel for ya! cuz it's like this, HELLO WAKE UP CALL! GET A LIFE! There r more things in life ta worry about, other then a damn broken nail. My girls are gonna b real! They're gonna b whatever they wanna b & mamma's not gonna tell then ta b otherwise. Afterall, you're only a child once, live it to your fullest.Enjoy it while you can, do what ever you'd like ta do, just be safe about it.

My girls luv ridin their scooters up & dwn tha street & around tha school yard. Though I do think it sometimes frustrates them that I insist on them always wearing their helmets. This pass week alone Madi has crashed & burned 3 times & tha first thing ya hear when it happens is tha sound of tha helmet hittin tha concrete. First thing she says is, "thank goodness I had my helmet on, but what about my knees & hands it doesn't help them any" haha kindda like she expects it ta b an all over body shield!

KK on tha other hand is a rebel just as I. Slick & rebellious. Atleast she tries ta be slick! (Ha ha)
I'm very linient on most things though whence it comes ta riding anything with speed I insist they Always wear a helmet!
Well she decides ta do just tha opposite. I think ta see just how long it takes me ta realize she's goin'a gainst my numero uno bide fast ridin' rule. Though much too her surprise it didn't take long @ all. Her consequence was groundment from the scooter for the remainder of the day. I swear ya think I had just killed her best friend 'er something.! lol Though it gave her much ta think about & hopefully she won't do it again.KK shows not much interest in tryin' ta learn on riding a 2 wheeled bike as of yet anyhoo. She says she feels much safer riding her scooter then she does on a bike. Though as I've told her if ever she feels she's ready ta learn just ta let me know &* I'll b more then happy ta help her out. Madi on tha other hand is really pushin' towards that motorcycle or dirt bike! LOL though ya'd think it wud b tha other way around. Especially since Madi's always found wearin a dress *& KK wud much rather NOT be caught dead in one!

Small fry still prefers ta crawl over walkin' @ this point n time tha only person he'll walk to is myself. Others try encouragin him ta walk to them thought he refuses. Either way it matters not ta me for I wish him ta stay small & a baby for as long as possible. Since chances are exceptionally gr8 that he will b my last child. Times like this I wish I could have become Mel Gibson's wife! LOL to be able ta bear 9 children & have no financial worries wud be just awesome!
